you should send me a picture

I asked what folks use as their bookmarks recently and a friend sent me this meme:

I’m pretty sure this is a poetry book, which makes this bookmark ridiculously poetic. Don’t you agree? It’s also a library book, so I am wondering if they threw this taco in in a rush and forgot before it went to the drop box?? But truly, who the hell uses a taco as a bookmark?!? Animal! I thought I was bad folding the corners.

Anyway, this gave me an idea: I think it will be endearing and intimate to see what others are using as bookmarks. I’d love for you to send me a picture!

My current bookmarks (I’ve decided to not fold my corners) are pictures of my partners. It is so lovely to open up to their beautiful faces 🫀
