Man, the “hey raven, you should make this…” is GI-VING lately. I have a lot of ideas, to which most of them I am proud of my whit or symbolism or storytelling power, but artists are also idea grifters. Some knowingly stolen, others small gems taken from the world and pieced together in a new Frankenstein-esk work of magic. Today I was gifted an idea from my partner, E. (This is the gift of multiple partners, they bring ideas of genius to me.)

I said I was going to make a linocut (used generally when I say I am going to make a block print from my erasers) and my partner says, “you should make one of Lionel Richie.” Fucking hilarious.
