that’s a lot of art

I recently ordered new business cards and decided to add my digital art, along with my drawings that I typically have, to the back (people really love my cards because they are like little prints). Well, they came in today and I am so stoked with how they turned out!

I took a chance putting my storyboards on a few. I was unsure how all that tiny writing would turn out, but if you take a picture and zoom in, or grab a magnifying glass, you can READ THE STORYBOARD! How cool is that?!

Most of the time I am chasing the feeling of never being a good enough artist. It is exhausting and a waste of my time, nonetheless, I feel this way often. However, there are moments that surprise me and I get a chance to see the amount of art I’ve made in my career or even just the last year or two. Today it was as simple as laying out my business cards, that have a fraction of my work on them, and seeing just how much art comes out of my brain.

    You are prolific! The high quality of all of your work is so consistent. I know that’s not an accident, I’m there for all the moments you emphasize maintaining a high standard of product. That’s great that the story boards are legible in business card form! That says something about the source image and the printing process.

    Imposter syndrome is real and oh so persistent! I can empathize with your experience in my own context. Making moments to look back on your work and achievements sounds like an important process to go through. You definitely crank out some amazing work, both quality AND quantity!
