I took my vending machine out for its first market this weekend and it was a hit!
It has been a dream to own some vending machines where I can share my art in a fun and interactive way, this small portable one is a great start to this dream and hopefully not the end of my vending machine journey.
I filled the three slots with fun items I made. The top had a package with a sticker sheet and an original block print. For the middle coils I printed out some of my digital drawings that were made from my original drawings, they look so nice. Lastly, I filled the bottom with the two zines I have made so far. I’d like to put more variety of zines in there, but the two were a great start to the vending machine.
Folks loved it and I sold a number of items from it. I’d like to add an eye catching magnet to cover the front, better for engagement, and some lights inside are also a must.
There it is on the right. Really rounds out my display quite nicely!
