i’ve made some shit

This last week I had a bit of a release on some pent up stuff keeping me from doing my work, it was a nice turn of events. Drawing my “serious” drawings hasn’t been easy for a while, which has made me sad, but I think I have a crack to go through and just need to trust that.

To start I made this as a study for a big drawing I have going:

But then I started on this and got something beautiful underway. It is a reflection on a relationship in my life that is full of softness and passion. How lucky am I?

Can’t wait to see where this small drawing ends up.

Markets have been keeping me tired but happy. I participated in a first Friday event in a beautiful space yesterday. Look at this booth set up! A feast for the eyes:

I recently drew this tiny trumpet and was so pleased with how it turned out, but a few markets later it blew away, along with A LOT of my stickers and postcards in a freak wind. To say I was devastated is an understatement. Just standing there watching all my art fly up into the sky and come back down soaking wet was heartbreaking. But onwards and upwards.

What little I could gather :/

Lastly, look at this nugget. He is always making me smile with his silliness and with his sweet curdled up sleeps 🥹

Happy Fall Y’all!
