a lifetime of skillz ✋a photo dump

Welcome to this round of photos. Let’s start with a great comic my partner, C, sent!! This says it all folks.

I’ve done a lot of markets since last I shared. This scene came from one of my markets at The Department of Creative Pursuits here in Denver. It was so fun to watch people step in and play with the set.

From my booth that day, I also got to watch live graffiti artists playing around.

Last weekend, at both my markets, I sold a lot of this sticker and a lot of mini bookmarks! The readers are out there! I love talking with fellow readers.

I enjoyed doing a market at the park. I was protected from the wind, but still got to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful park…and chat with my friend, Jim, with One Last Kiss.

At the park market I sold this cartoon guy. I drew it sometime ago and was curious who it would capture. It reminded me of Good Night Moon, the women who bought it was smitten. I don’t usually draw like this, but I am glad it finally found a home.

I went to the Contemporary Art Museum of Denver to see my friends work currently showing there. Lydia Farrell is making such moving work with oil paint. I love the subjects she explores and the colors she uses. It was so cool to see her in this museum!

Some other pieces I enjoyed from the exhibition. (I have failed as an artist! I didn’t get the names of these artists 😬)

I went to see one of my pieces (the top one) at a show I am in. I wasn’t terribly pleased with the show, but that’s how it goes sometimes. I do love this piece of mine, though. Recently, I’ve been exploring the human skeleton in my drawings.

Made a trip to the art supply store recently for a new art bag and some supplies. I also found these tiny spiral notebooks!! I want to make them into one-of-a-kind zines…keep your eyes out for those!

I’ve been getting lots of kitty time in my life lately. These two were like gargoyles! So stoic but the sweetest ever.

Last week I got to check on Moo Moo again, and we took this picture. I am still laughing. This is Granpa trying to open up his Facebook but accidentally taking a selfie. Am I right?! HA!

Yesterday I had an art hang with my friend Dan. We had to go on the hunt for Beanie Babies for an art project of his, but instead we found this windbreaker…

and I found this huge collection of Playboy’s for my friend Erin. She makes naughty collage. You can find her on Instagram as “trash_goblin_art”

Welp, that’s it. See you next time!
